Gwen - Mesmer Hero
Recently I have been vanquishing and I would like to prepare for places that need strong interupts, specifically the Shiverpeaks because two monk groups are rampant.
I was wondering if anyone has a bar for Gwen that can make these parts of vanquishing a lot simpler because of good heroes.
Thanks in Advance

tease is a good interrupt with energy management features.
then you can throw in stuff like [leech signet] or [power drain] that should take care of all the e-management you need. then you can go Dom and put in [cry of frustration] or something like that. Im not going to give you the whole build, just some ideas to work with.

VoR is pretty powerful. Bring Shatter Enchant or Drain Enchant for enchantment removal, and maybe CoF or Powerspike. Without their enchants, they get pretty badly destroyed. Consider in those circumstances locking Gwen on one of them, and killing the other.

Why?
What does that have to do with what the OP is asking for? not much interrupting power in that.

It has interrupts, and powers through 2 monk groups while having excellent energy management, and spamming capabilities. :] Plus I like lingering curse more than a full interrupt bar.
If you really think you need more you could try:
[Tease][Power Drain][Cry of Frustration][Chilblains][Rip Enchant][Enfeebling Blood][Defile Defenses][Resurrection Signet]

The first two skills are aoe degen which equates to additional pressure on the monks. LC greatly reduces healing power. EB makes them heal for slightly less, rip removes enchantments while pdrain and leech signet interrupts
How is that not a solid skill bar against dual monk teams?

This build works well especially when there's some frontline in your team.
The tease bar is also pretty brave if you don't like mine.
Mind you that the biggest problem with dolyak riders is [mark of protection], so I advise you to micro your enchant remove, because no LC in the world is going to power through it.
I posted an nuker bar because there's a few ways of dealing with healers, interrupts, enchant removal and damage spreading, the below bar does all of those.
[Mantra of inscriptions]
[signet of disruption]
[signet of distraction] or [leech signet]
[Drain Enchantment]
[Balthazar's Aura]
[Judge's Insight] or [smite hex]
[Ray of Judgement]
[Resurrection signet]
Smiting: 12
Dom: 8+1
FC: 7+1+1
Insp: rest

The problem with those Dolyak masters is that they use [mark of protection] on each other so killing them is nothing to do with decreased healing.
I took a [broad head arrow] ranger with [epidemic] and 2 [discord] MMs.
the minions did the interruption on the dazed dolyaks and the heroes killed them with discord.
sorry, no Gwen there...

My bar is still viable. Change Rip Enchantment to Chilblains or Rend Enchantments, or even drop Hex Eater Sig for either of those, and keep rip. I recall them asking for a Gwen build too. ;\ Not a ranger or a necro one.

My gwen runs this, energy management is good.. and whatever gwen doesn't interrupt will benefit you anyway because of VoR.. oh.. reason for no ench removal in that bar is because my nec has it, so I guess that ench removal can be fitted in the bar above.

Tease Ftw!
I use this:
[tease][cry of frustration][power drain][soothing memories][weapon of warding][blind was mingson][protective was kaolai][flesh of my flesh]
-constant interrupts, instant prot with WoW, partyheal, melee shutdown, lol 70AL caster fast rez so its ftw. If you wanna drop fomf or momories for [weapon of shadow] or [drain enchantment] but I'd rather leave ench strippes for necros to do.
Also Me/N version if you feel like you need more enchie strips and less utility:
[tease][cry of frustration][power drain][drain enchantment][chilblains][rip enchantment][enfeebling blood][weaken armor]
-Basically, if you still see things enchanted the area is bugged or you lie but if you do replace weaken armor with [strip enchantment]. x:

I personally prefer an Illusion build on my Mesmer heroes most of the time. Frustration combined with a Broadhead Arrow Ranger (hero or player) is quite effective. Toss in Clumsiness and Wandering Eye and you can even get benefits from Frustration on melee classes. Tease works great, and I use that most times. However, I often take Migraine for heavy interrupt/pressure uses. The only interrupts you NEED to have an effective hero build is Power Drain and Power Return when using Tease. The recharge times and energy management from those 3 skills are very strong.

Don't use tease, it is a waste of an elite slot, CoF is good enough with Mantra of Recovery.
For ranger heroes, use BHA+Epidemic and your standard ranger interrupts.
For a mesmer hero, either use a Me/Mo artificer: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...10&postcount=3
..or a Mantra of Recovery build with CoF, and Power Drain. Bring some utility to go with it, like hex and enchant removal or even Empathy.

Personally what I run on Gwen:
[elite][Power Drain][Leech Signet][Cry of Frustration][Power Return][Shatter Enchantment][Shatter Hex][Resurrection Chant]
For elites, I alternate between Tease, VoR, and Lyssa's Aura - usually one of the Inspiration elites since Shatter Enchant and Shatter Hex are pretty energy intensive on heroes. Dunno how much help this build would be in the Shiverpeaks, though.
Also, if I run Tease, I usually swap out one of the other interrupts for some random stuff like Frustration and Arcane Conundrum at very low spec.

[build prof=Me/Mo insp=9+1 Dom=12+1+1 fast=9+1][Power Block][Power Drain][Cry Of Frustration][Leech Signet][Drain Enchantment][Signet of Humility][Mantra of Inscriptions][Resurrection Chant][/build]
[build prof=Me/Mo insp=12+1+1 smite=10 fast=8+1][Tease][Power Drain][Smite Hex][Smite Condition][Signet of Humility][Mantra of Inscriptions][Strength Of Honor][Resurrection Chant][/build]
These are both kinda useful in that area. The bottom one is particurly good if you're a melee player. Just lock them on a Dolyak Rider to keep his MoP locked down and interupt his other pesky spells.
